A puter that sorta works

Change of plans.... instead of getting a new home puter, abe wants to set up everyone with their own laptops!!!! great news eh... but like most 'grand' schemes that comes hand in hand with limited resources, it will have to be done in stages. and since AF's fujitsu took a nosedive right before his finals, he's been given top priority although AI will be next with his wounded acer (mind you a cracked hinge looks pretty ghastly but it doesnt really affect much of its functions). now AH... much to the disgust of her brothers (who had to wait till they got into college), all she needs to do is come up with 8As for her PMR and she'll be getting one herself.

So daddy says.

I'd probably end up with AF's old fujitsu anyway...... which, since the arrival of his new dell, has been unceremoniously dumped at home. but it has suprisingly decided not to leave the land of the living just yet and seems to be working quite fine..... albeit some funny whirring noises and blinks of light once in a while. *sigh* tak kisah ler..... asalkan connected akan bahagia :)

And at least i got AF to wipe out all traces of his ubuntu and install instead the all familiar microsoft windows. no ubuntu for me thank you very much (ubuntu buat otak ku buntu ekekeh).. familiarity doesnt always breed contempt you know :)
