A first

Theres a great possibility that i just might've made my first 7 km run this morning..... yay !!! the reason i'm not too sure about it is because i still dunno the actual distance round the shah alam main lakes. its actually 3 lakes joined together and it runs from the edge of the state mosque right across to Wet World and back. unlike Lake Titiwangsa there are NO markers.... i've already posted an enquiry at the MBSA website but alas, nobody has bothered to reply *sigh* anyway i did do some crude estimations (based on my runs around the neighbourhood.... where i could easily check the distance with my car) and i think its probably about 4 km. and this morning i did a complete lap plus another 2x 1/2 laps (theres plenty of interconnecting bridges to break it into smaller routes).

It was a beautiful morning to begin with and i didnt really start with the burning desire to run like a mad woman lol it just sorta happen..... the air was cool, i was feeling fine and after the initial warm up pace, everything just flowed. wow... cant begin to tell you how fantastic it felt.... would have gone on & on if i didnt have all these chores to attend to lol unfortunately because i didnt really plan on it i didnt make a point to check the timing.... but i think it was under 50 mins.

Anyway, i sure am a cheshire cat right now..... cant seem to stop grinning !! the man will probably think its reverse PMS or something lol but i cant help it i'm soooooo happy :) he's already given me the green light to get a better pair of running shoes.... something kinder to the creakin' knees (and of course much more expensive lol and the main reason why i invested so much time sweet talkin' me ole man in the first place heheh). gotta shop for one real soon.
