Captured images

Truth be told we're a camera-shy family..... we dont really have lotsa pics to show off and kalau adapun gitu2 je. now that the kids are all grown i sometimes wish there were more captured images for me to go back to. going down memory lane without these little triggers can be quite an uphill endeavour, especially when i've become that much more sluggish in the 'memory recall' department lol.

Recently for a family that isnt too clicker happy (as in trigger happy) we're suddenly seeing a lot of clicking equipment about the place. AI's diploma in mass comm requires that he lugs around a dslr camera so last year we got him a pentax (friggin expensive but lucky thing we got one that was on sale). last week AF came home with the sole purpose of getting himself something similar, a sony this time (bought largely on his own sholarship surplus), to facilitate his teaching modules. and latest is AH... she's in the 'sidang redaksi majalah sekolah' and who'd have thought she'd be appointed as one of the photographers?!! omigosh, another cam in the house (from zero to trio?) but this time it'll be one of 'em automatic thingies.. like cybershot perhaps (oh but she says it has to be of a certain megapixel and no, i really dont know what i'm talking about lol).

Hmmmm maybe it's time i got me one of 'em facials since i might very well be the object of errr, interest nanti kan (perasan hehehehe). but i also have this nagging suspicion it wont be doing much good la dah kerepot mepot ni hikhik ;)

What a relief to finally have i/net connection again. we were cut off from the rest of the whole wide world (another shortform for the www lol) part of saturday and all of sunday. AH was supremely annoyed she couldnt get online.... partly because of the 'terencat-ness' it'd caused to her chatting & myspace, partly the 'terbantut-ness' to her guitar sessions like access to tabs, lyrics and utube. she usually spends her time playing mainstream english hits like misery business, polaroid etc etc. but i did catch her trying out malay hits recently and i must say her rendition (bantai version she says) of faisal's kasih tercipta & imran ajmain's 1000 tahun was pretty amazing. but then i'm her mom so i'm biased i guess heheh.

She's an introvert but to a certain extent having a bf helped her open up a bit but its a slow process. no i dont want her to do a 360 deg turn on me no way. its just that i sometimes wish she'd sing at school and blow her schoolmates away.... to most of them she's the sweet, nerdish rather predictable prefect, another face in the crowd. aside from her close friends they've never seen the kick-ass side of her lol. but that one, she has many layers... and i'm slowly discovering some of them myself :)
