Company on saturday

Ooohhh and sabriena's one already?

The stepbro called yesterday and we ended up setting up a time for a little get together. the cutie pie had turned one and her mak pah wanted to see just how big she had become :) all my 3 stepbros live in kl but real life & its myriad of problems prevent us from meeting often. the gap between moi and them is quite huge (15 years) and i guess young people do need to struggle that wee bit more during these early years in establishing 'a life'.

So after my morning run, i made a pit stop at the market for taugeh and stuff. feeling a little lazy and since they were coming for tea, i was going to fry some meehoon, buy a couple of roasters from ayamas, hijack a cake and some pies from baker's cottage and lastly go hunting for a prezzie suitable for a one year old.
i was quite stumped about what to get baby brie but thank god i had AH for that :)

Actually my old friend R did mention the slight possibility of dropping by... but of course the poor darling was having a skull cracking bout of migraine and wasnt going anywhere till it got better so i wasnt really banking on her turning up, with her mee bandung no less hehehe. another day perhaps eh R. Now out of the blue, another old friend (oh i am so blessed to suddenly have so many old friends around to brighten up my days) was in the neighbourhood and whadaya know...... managed to find his way to my most humble abode. like me, my home is seadanye :)

All in all, it was a fine way to spend the evening - with family and friend.

Abe's doing well.... i know now his fall wasnt as bad as he made out and probably was doing it just to scare the bejezus out of me!!!!! sheesh, not funny ok... unless you're planning on killing me any time soon. humppphhh... men!!!!! he was at a mini pool championship in the morning and later moved on to a rousing ping pong match. certainly not the activities of an out & out dude.
