Klang Parade

.. if it wasnt because of the fencing tourney i guess you could say i'd almost forgotten its very existence!!

Used to be whenever i couldnt get what i wanted at jusco bukit raja i would then make my way thru the backroads and continue at parkson klang parade. but that was quite some time ago. i dont think i can actually remember that little shortcut anymore lol. in fact when the kids and i went to check the place out yesterday we kinda took the wrong left turn (it should've been the one after the old shapadu toll) and found ourselves enroute to pelabuhan klang utara instead!! haha thats how long its been :)

Yeah its still as i remembered it..... a little 'gelap', a little rundown, but still thriving in its own way. its okey i guess, except for the life of me, i cant imagine why its been chosen as the venue for the junior/cadet fencing circuit. if the tournament is at national level wouldnt it be more appropriate to have it at some stadium or community hall instead of the main lobby of a shopping complex? the space is sooo restricted and not to mention being rather distracting to the fencers. even if it is in an effort to promote the sport but at a shopping mall, and one thats not even all that 'happening' to begin with?! dunno ya. if its all about the money, one then wonders where are the funds for such events? takkan takde kot since sports is such an important aspect of nation building.

Apa2pun lets hope the selangor contingent does well..... go selangor fencers ;)
